Rob Sherrell is a comedian, writer, and producer from Indianapolis, IN.
Once enrolled at Indiana University, Rob eventually decided to he wanted to pursue comedy professionally, changing his double major of Law & Policy/Political Science to a major program he created himself in Stand-Up Comedy.
As the first program of its kind at Indiana University, Rob’s been featured in USA Today College, The Indy Star, Comedy Hype, 812 Magazine, The Indiana Daily Student, Huffington Post LIVE, and The Herald Times. This garnered the attention of Kevin Hart who deemed him a “trailblazing” comedian.
Since then, Rob has created several award winning and nationally recognized productions in podcasting, film, and television including Empty Bottle Chronicles, Headphones, Hella Late with Rob Sherrell, and his newest short film, Campus Brotha.
Continuing his stand-up career, Rob has opened for Shawn Latham (Comedy Central), Action Bronson (BET), Ben Moore (Bob and Tom Show), Capital Cities (Grammy Nominated), Alex Ortiz (HBO), and Shaun Harris (BET).
Recently, Rob has been accepted to study documentary filmmaking with the Mae Fah Luang Foundation in Thailand. As one of only 5 people chosen for the program, he will be producing a documentary over the Doi Tung Project in Chang Rai. He will also be making a brief cameo appearance in The Good Catholic starring Danny Glover, John McGinley, and Zachary Spicer which hit theatres in September.
